The Story
IO Aerospace was founded by Sylvain Guillet a software engineer with aerospace background as commercial pilot and space lover who saw a need for better tools in the industry. Frustrated by the limitations of proprietary software and the high cost of licensing, he sets out to create an open-source alternative that would be accessible to everyone and particularly the actors of new space. Over the years, the team has grown, and our software has evolved to become a powerful and user-friendly options. Today, we continue to push the boundaries of what's possible in astrodynamics software and are proud to be leading the charge towards a more open and collaborative space industry.
